Over more than seven years and hundreds of weddings, Amaral Films & Photos has grown from two people united by the same purpose into a team of eight professionals. One visual signature, one standard, anywhere in Portugal or Europe.
The founders
Before the company, we are a couple. Caio works through photography and Ana through film, a connection shaped by the life we share and present in every wedding we document.
Amaral Films & Photos grew from that connection and from the decision to build something of our own. Instead of joining someone else’s team, we chose to create our own and devote it to one purpose: preserving, with artistry, sensitivity and calm, the days no one wants to forget.
Today we lead a team of eight and remain personally accountable for every project, from the first hello to the final photograph delivered. Your wedding is more than a date in our calendar: it is the day you entrust us with your story, and that responsibility carries our name.
The team
Amaral Films & Photos is an eight-person team of photographers, filmmakers, storymakers, editors and licensed drone operators. Each person is carefully selected and trained to our standards. This allows dedicated teams to cover more than one wedding on the same day, anywhere in Portugal or Europe, while preserving the same visual signature.

Our standard
Our rule has always been to grow without losing what makes the work ours. It allows us to serve several couples in the same week, sometimes on the same day, without compromising the Amaral standard.
Every photographer and filmmaker is trained in our approach to coverage and editing, so the visual language remains consistent whoever is behind the camera.
Dedicated teams can cover more than one wedding on the same day with the same level of care. We still accept a limited number of celebrations to protect that standard.
Every project passes through the same post-production direction, keeping the final aesthetic coherent from one wedding and one year to the next.
Caio and Ana personally oversee every project from the first conversation to final delivery. The people guiding you are the people accountable for the work.
How we work
A calm, clear process designed so you feel supported at every stage.
Everything begins with an unhurried conversation. We learn about your plans, understand what matters to you and confirm availability for your date.
Once your booking is confirmed, the date is yours. We remain available to support the planning and answer questions in the lead-up to the wedding.
On the wedding day, we follow every moment from the preparations to the final dance with discretion and complete focus.
Afterwards, we give the edit the time it deserves. Your photographs and film arrive ready to bring the day back, again and again.
